Amanda Klimek is a Bay Area artist who works in hand built ceramic, electronics and found materials to create abstract-organic sculptures and installations. She uses the visual language of the human body; evoking skin, viscera and bones - to relate the human presence, which is integrated with forms of landscape, personal objects or electronics to speak about the causality of our relationships with these non-human elements, environmental and self destruction.
