Harvest Inn by Charlie Palmer Unveils the Vineyard
The St. Helena resort announces the completion of 22 newly renovated guestrooms and suites overlooking Napa Valley vineyards
September 13, 2016; St. Helena, Calif--Chef Charlie Palmer and Palmer City-Core Hotels announce the Vineyard View Collection, a new tier of recently renovated guestrooms and suites at Harvest Inn by Charlie Palmer. All 22 rooms, beneficiaries of a complete facelift this summer, offer western-facing views of Whitehall Lane’s Leonardini Family Vineyards and the Mayacamas Mountains. Rooms are segmented into three room types: Vineyard View Collection King, Vineyard View Collection Spa and Vineyard View Collection Suite. These room renovations are the second of the property’s three-phase transformation, which began with the opening of its Charlie Palmer restaurant, Harvest Table and the completion of four new guest rooms in 2016. Phase three will include newly constructed Vineyard View Collection Suites in 2017.
VINEYARD VIEW COLLECTION KING
Vineyard View Collection King rooms are 550 square foot accommodations featuring plush king-sized beds dressed in subdued sky toned and cream linens, the comfort of contemporary leather club chairs or upholstered couches facing oversized wood burning red brick fireplaces, and expansive vineyard views from a private porch or terrace.
VINEYARD VIEW COLLECTION SPA
Secluded and self-contained, Vineyard View Collection Spa accommodations are 550 square feet with plush king-sized beds, club chairs or couches, oversized wood burning fireplaces, and expansive vineyard views and terrace, but also feature a private spa hot tub on the vineyard-facing terrace.
VINEYARD VIEW COLLECTION SUITE
Vineyard View Collection Suites offer the same upscale accommodations and views, but with added space provided by a multilevel room with dining areas and supplemental sleeper sofas for group travelers and a range of room sizes approaching 1000 square feet.
Each and every Vineyard View Collection room offers a king-size bed, classic and functioning red brick fireplace, and private terrace area overlooking the Harvest Inn’s bordering vineyards. The newly refreshed room design is a collaboration between Palmer City-Core Hotels’ Kevin Wasniewski and local firm Star 7 Architect’s Charles Theobold with the goal of providing a warm, updated setting that draws attention to the true focal point of Napa Valley: the land. IN these rooms, a new color palette of cream, pale blues and light grays is introduced, showcased on the refinished walls and trim, along with new window treatments, carpets and bedding. Midcentury-style grey upholstered office chairs are offset by bright throw pillows and cashmere blankets on sofas. Thoughtful accents like classic books are shelved above each fireplace and modern touches include USB charging ports, chrome floor lamps and nickel-brushed wall sconces.
Adding to Harvest Inn's unique line of offerings, including a full wine country breakfast daily and complimentary parking and wifi, all guests of the VVC are treated to enhanced amenities in the form of locally and house-made food and drink. Standardized in-room amenities include a house blend of “Harvest Mix” and full bottles of Whitehall Lane’s Tre Leoni Cabernet from the very vineyards the rooms overlook. A rotating selection of turndown items or “Moonbites” is delivered to each Vineyard View Collection room nightly. Guests will be treated to Rockin’ Ranch Popcorn and Harvest Bars, both made by the Harvest Table team, as well as a selection of locally-curated products, including Annie’s Cookies from an artisanal baker in Napa.
