Green Inside and Out

The Harvest Inn was one of the first hotels in the wine country to recycle all of its refuse on a daily basis. Our new Fountain View sleeping and meeting rooms were built with a high degree of sensitivity to energy and water use. In addition, the Harvest Inn has taken steps to reduce its use of water from the St. Helena water system by more than two million gallons annually.

Our green practices include:

• Earth-friendly cleaning products
• Recycling of paper, plastic and glass
• Energy efficient heating / air conditioning
• Recycled pens and writing pads printed with soy ink
• Energy-saving halogen lighting
• Composting of lawn and food waste
• Landscaping watered with water-efficient well system
